I grew up in New York City and attended the La Guardia High School of the Arts for fashion illustration; The City College of the City University of New York where I earned a B.A. in painting and drawing; an M.S. in Art Therapy from the College of New Rochelle; and finally my certification as an art teacher through the Connecticut Board of Higher Education’s certification program.
I have been fortunate in my life to have a career path that has always been grounded in art: graphic designer, art therapist and art teacher.
From my roots in the city to the tranquil countryside in Connecticut and now the wilderness of Montana, the beauty of nature is a constant inspiration and companion in my work.
To quote John Muir: "...For going out I found was really going in."
